Sole Rosso is a place for Branscum family country fun. Four generations of Branscums enjoy our little 'Piece of Dirt' and it can also be your place: to enjoy a walk in the vineyard; a glass of wine with cheese watching a beautiful sunset; old-fashioned swings to enjoy; a roaring fire with s'mores watching the shooting stars, satellites, or just trying to find a certain constellation; or enjoying the beauty of the natural amphitheatre.

Starting as a dream in 2003, the property was first shaped for small vineyards. Then the plants arrived and the family joined in the potting and planting. Setting posts, wire, and irrigation followed. The main winery building has been a long, on-going project that is nearly completed now. The amphitheatre was completed in 2010.

The Wine: Not to be the same as most of the valley, Sole Rosso has clones of four different Italian varietals of grapes: Sangiovese de Montalcino, Muscat Giallo, Nebbiolo, and Anglianico.
